Social Project Ideas to Create in Odessa (Ukraine)
These are just some of the ideas I would like to implement, for our beloved city. The list will continue to grow. Perhaps some of you will see here your inspiration and desire to join. And the more of you there are, the more ideas there will be. And therefore more projects!
And yes, I believe that sooner or later they will all become reality.
It only takes a moment for the future to replace the present. And our task is not to be afraid to look into the future. Close your eyes for a second and you will see how these dreams and projects become part of reality.
Everything depends on you and me and on our faith and readiness to act.
Project idea "SQUARE on NOVOSELSKY 21"
I have a dream... To make our city the greenest! And this project is just another way to show Odessans how they can do it themselves... The creation of the square is still experiencing the maximum resistance of the city authorities, but we hope that we will succeed! And, as usual, it all depends on ourselves! But it's not the first time! So I'm sure we can do it again!
Project idea "BEACH RESCUE TOWERS" (Odesa, Ukraine)
It is a tourist and at the same time very important project in terms of safety! It is based on the famous American lifeguard towers and the desire to adapt them to the spirit of our city (as a lighthouse...). And the main task is to equip them with important lifesaving equipment to save lives. The implementation of the project largely depends on the support of the city authorities!
Project idea "VOICES of those who can NEVER RETURN" (Odesa, Ukraine)
I would like to create a place of grief after the war. Everyone would be able to hear the faintly real voices of fallen children. Those who will never come back... Voices of those who were taken away by war... For people to remember what war is and to have their hearts and souls torn apart every time... An evergreen wall or a labyrinth... Not a monument, but something that shows that life and death are very close... And for every visitor to feel the pain that all Ukrainians feel... Perhaps, such places should be not only in our country...
Project idea "TIME SILHOUETTES" (Odesa, Ukraine)
Time and human activity are two major entropy factors for heritage sites! Many of them have long since been lost to the ages. However, if at least part of the structure survives, there is a solution that can turn back time...! A little bit of our creativity and your imagination can bring back the silhouettes of the past, the silhouettes of history, the silhouettes of time for a moment! You ask how? I'll tell you, but you'll need your help!
Project idea "Street Mini THEATRE and Art GALLERY" (Odesa, Ukraine)
In every city there are many talented artists, musicians, poets and even actors... However, not always they have a possibility to share their creative work with other citizens... Place a small stage in a cosy corner of a park. Create a small number of spectator seats nearby. In this way, I want to give a free opportunity to all creative Odessans to give us their creativity and to improve their talent!

We can make our parks the most beautiful! In our country or in the world, does it really matter? After all, they will be the most beautiful for us because we have made them so! Join our ideas and suggest your own! And perhaps soon our next dream will come true! Undoubtedly, the path of any project is long and thorny, but look at all the projects that have already been realised and decide for yourself whether we can do it or not!
Project idea "BYCICLE PIT STOP" (Odesa, Ukraine)
If you ride a bike, you know that sometimes you want to get off your bike and enjoy the world around you. But, alas, bike parking spaces are rare, and so are resting places... Our project suggests combining benches and bike parking. This would make an ideal space for cyclists and walkers alike! Check out our ideas and join us in realising them!

There are a lot of places in Odesa in need of restoration, landscaping and care. And who can be concerned about that but you and me! And one of those places is the pedestrian panorama from one of the last undeveloped parts of the top of Odesa's slope! If we don't do that, it won't even be there soon enough for our hulk!

Once they used to bring joy to Odessans and visitors... And now you can find them only in other cities of the world... Can't such a hospitable city as Odessa can afford to restore such an important element of amenities and hospitality? Let's work with you to make sure that such an important project would appear on our streets again... We surely can!

What can we say about most of the piers in Odesa? Ruined. In need of repair. Dangerous for walking. Makes a sad impression. And why? Because these are ideal places for walks and should be not only safe, but also comfortable... And also they can be cosy and each with its own zest... What is needed for that? Our ideas, patrons, will of city authorities... everything is possible, you just have to want it! All the more so as the piers have been waiting for us for a long time!
Project idea "FLOWERBEDS" (Odesa, Ukraine)
How can you make a city green if most of the flowerbeds are filled with dry scorched grass? Can we talk about love for the city if all the desire to make it green you put on the city authorities? You and I can make one flowerbed green next to our homes and offices! Everyone! Together with our housemates or work colleagues! And then we will definitely be able to invite the city authorities to join the project too! But we have to start it ourselves!

Walking around the park once an hour for just 5 minutes you could see such beauty... What would it take? Nothing, except patrons and a desire to make our city more beautiful! What do you say? Shall we find them together?

Popular and so beloved holiday destinations in Europe and around the world! What stops us from making them in our own native city! After all, there are still so many places where such improvement is badly needed!
Project idea "CHARITABLE PARK" (Odesa, Ukraine)
This is my biggest dream, which is as difficult to come true as believing in a miracle! But I have believed in miracles since childhood, and that is why I was able to create so many projects! This is a unique project, unparalleled in the world! A park, the proceeds from ticket sales of which go entirely to charity! A park with a simple but unique solution! A park that could help heal hundreds or thousands of children! Would support many people below the poverty line... There's an idea and a place, all that's needed is the political will!
Project idea "LAST WISH" (Odesa, Ukraine)
We are all afraid of death, even if we pretend we are not. But life can be cruel! And sometimes, those who should live a long and happy life are deprived at the very beginning of it of all that you and I have... And no money of the world can give them the most important thing - decades, years, sometimes even days... Once we helped a boy with cancer to become a dolphin trainer... Just a few days before his death... He was happy... We would like to help other such children too...
Project idea "GLADE OF FAIRY TALES " (Odesa, Ukraine)
I believe that one day, in a faraway corner of one of the Odesa parks you will come with your child and sink into a fairy tale... A fairy tale created together with you! With your ideas, your efforts, your hands! I believe that there are places in Odesa, where you can create your own fairy tale glade! Believe me and you!

Why is there still no place in Odesa where, as in many cities around the world, authenticity has been preserved? Not only in buildings, but in details, in some slight artistic flirtation of space and time? Where a time machine takes us back in time, through images, sounds, history...
Project idea "JAPAN PERGOLA on SAKUR ALLEY" (Odesa, Ukraine)
At the "First Sakura Alley" (planted in the botanical garden) I want to create an authentic corner of Japan... A cherry tree, a pergola, benches... All for the city residents to enjoy the blossoming of this beautiful tree. And fully immerse into the world of the country of the rising sun! Odesa is a sister city of Yokohama, Japan! But so far our enquiries have not received any support from the Japanese consulate and embassy. So it's all on our shoulders again.
Project idea "PARK MINIATURE" (Odesa, Ukraine)
It's not a unique project... But there's one thing! We could make an ordinary miniature park. There would be well-known cities and places of Ukraine, as well as some sights of Europe! Or we could create a place which would reflect the aftermath of the war, cities destroyed and then rebuilt again. A place where children and adults would see relics completely destroyed by war (such as Sviatogorsk Lavra) and places rebuilt again... History must be remembered...Perhaps your endeavours or support can also help to make the city better, save lives and support those in need!
It is important that each of us is ready to contribute to the common cause. After all, only together we can create a brighter future for our favourite city and its residents.
